Just Road: Light Navigating My Path

Just Road! Oh, the freedom to travel and the freedom to explore.

Just Road! Stay home? Ain’t nobody got time for that. After all, we have people to see and places to go.

Just Road! We are no longer stuck at home. We can once again go outside and enjoy what the world has to offer.

However, before you head on out and as you map out all the places you want to stop on the way, may I suggest that you don’t leave home without your GPS? Your Godly Perspective System.

You will need to ensure that your Godly Perspective System is functioning properly. It is easy to get lost in these streets if you don’t know the right directions to take.

Like a Global Positioning System was created to help you navigate the roads and give direction from point A to point B. A Godly Perspective System will allow you to navigate life and give directions on how to navigate this world as you journey to Heaven.

The best person to give proper directions to your house is you. After all, you travel that road all the time. In this same manner, the best person to give us directions on how to get to heaven is God.

He created the path and made a way for us to get there despite our sinfulness.

Only God can give us a Godly Perspective.

Why Do You Need A Godly Perspective?

This journey to Heaven is not always easy. As a matter of fact, it is filled with potholes, curves, dark patches, and detours.

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all..

-Psalms 34:19 (NIV)

A Godly Perspective System will remind us what the Word of God says about these moments.

A Godly Perspective System will remind us while we are hitting those potholes of life, “All things work together for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose”...just like Romans 8:28 tells us.

A Godly Perspective System will give us the strength we need to keep moving when we are discouraged and fatigue. The truth of the matter is sometimes especially on those long road trips you want to pull over and stop driving to your final destination.

A Godly Perspective System will remind you not to give up on doing the right thing because if you keep going, you will reach your destination (Galatians 6:9).

A Godly Perspective System will let you know even though you are uncertain of the direction or unsure that you are on the right path, your steps are ordered by God.

A Godly Perspective System will confirm that despite the detours, your final destination has not changed.

Recharge Your GPS

However, a Godly Perspective System is not something that stays charged without being plugged into the Source.

Like a Global Positioning System, we need to charge our Godly Perspective System daily.

How? By connecting to our Source through reading God's Word.

When we do not read and study God’s Word regularly, our Godly Perspective eventually loses its charge and does not work as efficiently.

Reading Gods Word allows us to know what God is saying about the path we are on. It helps us to navigate life, when life gets uncertain (and it will).

The word of God shines light into our situation and guides our choices and decisions. (Psalm 119:105)

The Bible is not like any other book.

It is the living and active Word of God (Hebrews 4:12).

It has the power to change the direction of our lives.

The Bible lets us know if we have made a wrong turn or if we are on the correct path.

When your Godly Perspective System is fully functioning you will realize that your GPS doesn’t lose signals and there are no dead spots on the road because your sensitivity to God’s Presence is strong.

No matter where we are on this journey, His Word reminds us that He will never leave us or forsake us.

During this season as you enjoy the freedom of the road, keep your GPS charged, and allow God’s Word to help you to navigate through life.
